Johor Racing Wins at 24 Hours of Spa with Corvette GT3.R on Forgeline SS1R-GT

Johor Racing delivered a breakthrough result at the 2026 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, claiming victory in the Pro-Am class with its No. 0 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R on Forgeline one-piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheels. The win marks the first class victory for the Corvette GT3.R at Spa and the first time since 2009 that a Corvette has won at the event in any capacity. It also represents a milestone achievement for Johor Racing, becoming the first Malaysian team to secure a class win in the world’s largest GT3 endurance race.

The quartet of Ben Green, Jordan Love, HH Prince Jefri Ibrahim, and HH Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim combined for a disciplined and resilient performance over 24 hours at Spa-Francorchamps. Starting ninth in the Pro-Am class, the Johor Racing Corvette faced early setbacks, including penalties and on-track incidents that briefly dropped the team down the order. Despite those challenges, the team steadily worked its way forward through consistent pace, clean execution, and strategic pit work.

By the halfway point, the No. 0 Corvette had moved into second place in class, putting itself firmly in contention. The decisive move came in the final third of the race, where Johor Racing took control of the Pro-Am lead and maintained it through the closing hours. In the end, the team completed 531 laps to secure the class victory and finish 29th overall in a race that saw more than a third of the starting field fail to reach the finish.

The Spa victory adds to a growing list of achievements for the Corvette Z06 GT3.R platform across global competition. The car has quickly established itself as a competitive contender in GT3 racing, with recent wins across IMSA and international endurance events.

Every Corvette GT3.R competes on Forgeline one-piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheels, engineered specifically for top-level GT racing with a focus on strength, stiffness, and reduced mass for endurance performance. That combination of durability and deflection stiffness plays a critical role in a 24-hour race like Spa, where component reliability is as important as outright speed.

Congratulations to Ben Green, Jordan Love, HH Prince Jefri Ibrahim, HH Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim, and the entire Johor Racing team on a well-earned result, and thank you for trusting Forgeline.
