TF Sport Corvette Earns Historic Le Mans Victory on Forgeline Wheels

TF Sport and Corvette Racing delivered a major result at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning the LMGT3 class with the No. 33 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R on Forgeline one piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheels.
Driven by Nicky Catsburg, Jonny Edgar, and Ben Keating, the Corvette fought from 17th on the grid to the front through 24 hours of clean, disciplined execution. TF Sport's victory is the first Le Mans win for the new Corvette GT3.R platform and the 10th class title for Corvette Racing at the 24-hour event.
Based on the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 and sharing the road car’s aluminum chassis, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R is powered by a race‑prepared version of the Z06’s 5.5‑liter DOHC LT6 V8, paired with a six‑speed sequential transmission. The car features a motorsports‑specific double‑wishbone suspension and AP Racing brakes, with six‑piston fronts and four‑piston rears designed for endurance racing, including advanced cooling and quick‑change capability. Pratt Miller Engineering worked closely with the Forgeline Motorsports team over several years to develop an application‑specific version of Forgeline’s center‑locking, one‑piece forged monoblock SS1R‑GT wheel, engineered to optimize mass, deflection, strength, and durability for the Corvette GT3.R. Every Corvette GT3.R competing around the world runs 18x12.5 front and 18x13 rear Forgeline SS1R‑GT wheels, finished in Gloss Black.
Congratulations to Nicky Catsburg, Jonny Edgar, Ben Keating, the entire TF Sport team, and Chevrolet on this historic victory, and thank you for trusting Forgeline.
