Forgeline IR3C Wins Best New Product Award at Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals
Forgeline is very proud to announce that our Heritage Series IR3C wheel earned the 2026 Goodguys Best New Product Award in the Tires & Wheels category, at the 28th Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. The award marks an incredible milestone for our team and extends a remarkable streak of recognition at one of the most prestigious events in the custom automotive industry. The IR3C is now the fifth consecutive Forgeline product to earn a Goodguys Best New Product Award.
Presented during the Summit Racing Nationals, the Goodguys Best New Product Awards recognize innovative products that bring new ideas, engineering, and design to the street rod, muscle car, and custom vehicle markets. Unlike many industry awards, the Best New Product winners are selected by the event attendees themselves, making the honor a direct reflection of the enthusiasm and support of the builders, enthusiasts, and hot rodders who attend the event.
The IR3C made its debut at the 2025 SEMA Show and immediately struck a chord with enthusiasts who grew up admiring the iconic third-generation Camaro Z28. Designed in collaboration with Roadster Shop, the IR3C pays homage to that original five-spoke wheel while reimagining it through the lens of modern engineering, manufacturing technology, and performance.
Unlike the factory wheel that inspired it, the IR3C is a fully modern three-piece design built around forged 6061-T6 aluminum centers, heat-treated rim shells, and hidden ARP fasteners. Thick dimensional concave spokes create a muscular appearance that remains faithful to the original design while delivering the strength, precision, and fitment flexibility demanded by today's high-performance builds.
Available in 18-inch, 19-inch, and 20-inch diameters, the IR3C combines classic muscle car character with contemporary performance capabilities. The wheel features a stepped-lip outer rim and is custom built to order in a wide range of widths, fitments, and finish combinations, allowing builders to achieve a period-correct appearance without sacrificing modern tire, brake, and suspension technology.
