Four Forgeline-Equipped Builds Earn Street Machine of the Year Top 10 Honors at Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals

The Goodguys 2026 Forgeline Street Machine of the Year competition brought together some of the finest custom vehicles in the country, at the 28th Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. As the presenting sponsor of one of the industry's most prestigious build competitions, Forgeline was proud to see four Forgeline-equipped builds earn positions among the nation's most elite street machines when the field was narrowed to just ten finalists. Two advanced into the final Top 5, while additional honors included the coveted Raddest Award and a Builder's Choice Award.
Selected as Street Machine of the Year Top 10 finalists were the JH Restorations Fox Body Mustang on Forgeline CV3C wheels, the Dutchboys HotRods Ford Torino on Forgeline RS6 wheels, the Reisinger Customs Ford Mustang Convertible on Forgeline VX3C wheels, and the Greening Auto Company-built 1979 Pontiac Trans Am on Forgeline LS3 wheels.
Advancing into the final Top 5 were the JH Restorations Mustang and the Dutchboys Torino, placing both vehicles among the strongest contenders for one of the most prestigious honors in the custom automotive industry.
The JH Restorations Fox Body Mustang enjoyed a particularly successful weekend in Columbus. Owned by Scott Young and riding on Forgeline forged three-piece CV3C wheels, the Mustang captured the coveted Raddest Award while also securing its place among the Top 5 finalists. The modernized Fox Body first debuted earlier this year and has quickly established itself as one of the most recognized custom builds on the show circuit.
Powered by a 7.3L Godzilla V8 paired with a 10-speed paddle-shifted automatic transmission, the Mustang also features Ridetech IRS suspension, Wilwood disc brakes, Toyo tires, and 18x10.5/18x11.5 Forgeline CV3C wheels. Earlier this year, the car earned Grand Champion honors at Toronto Motorama, and its success in Columbus further reinforces its status as one of the most impressive builds in North America.
The Dutchboys HotRods Ford Torino, owned by Dennis King, also continued its impressive run by advancing into the final Top 5. The Torino's inclusion among the finalists reflects the exceptional level of craftsmanship, engineering, and execution that has become synonymous with Dutchboys projects.
Additional recognition came through the Greening Auto Company-built Pontiac Trans Am, which not only earned a place among the Street Machine of the Year Top 10 finalists but also captured a Builder's Choice Award during the weekend. Combined with the Top 10 selection for the Reisinger Customs Mustang Convertible, the results further demonstrated the strong presence of Forgeline-equipped vehicles throughout one of the country's most competitive custom vehicle competitions.
While only one vehicle can ultimately be crowned Street Machine of the Year, having four Forgeline-equipped builds selected among the Top 10 finalists and two among the final Top 5 is a remarkable achievement. The results speak to the quality of the builders, owners, and teams who continue to trust Forgeline for their most ambitious projects.
Congratulations to JH Restorations, Dutchboys HotRods, Reisinger Customs, Greening Auto Company, and their clients on an outstanding showing in Columbus. Thank you for trusting Forgeline.
