Congratulations to Jeremiah Belk, whose stunning 1966 Chevrolet Nova has been crowned the 2025 Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year, at the Goodguys 32nd Summit Racing Lone Star Nationals presented by BASF, in Fort Worth, TX, following a standout season of competition and admiration across the country.
Built by Driven Speed Shop, Jeremiah’s Nova is a masterclass in modern pro-touring performance and classic muscle car style. Powered by a supercharged 427ci Wegner Automotive LSX mated to a Bowler Performance Transmissions-prepped Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission, this beast delivers over 1,000 horsepower and 900 lb-ft of torque, making it as fast as it is beautiful. It rides on a Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis with coil-over suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, Baer disc brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and 18/19-inch Forgeline forged three piece CV3C wheels finished with Satin Black centers and Brushed outers.
The body features extensive custom work, including a smoothed and raised cowl, tucked bumpers, shaved drip rails, flush glass, and a custom dash. Finished in PPG Audi Daytona Pearl by Kandy Shop Kreations, the Nova’s sleek exterior is complemented by Dapper Lighting LED headlights, Fesler taillights, and Ringbrothers mirrors.
Inside, the Nova is just as refined. A custom leather-wrapped dash houses Holley Pro Dash digital instruments, a Pioneer head unit, and a high-end JL Audio and Morel stereo system. The interior was completed by Sew Cal Rods, featuring TMI seats in red and black leather, a Sparco steering wheel, and Vintage Air A/C.
Jeremiah’s journey to this build began a decade ago when he sold his first Nova to fund his startup oil business. Years later, he tracked down the exact car he had always wanted and brought it to life with the help of Driven Speed Shop and a team of top-tier builders.
“This car is everything I dreamed of building,” said Belk. “It’s a tribute to my late uncle and a symbol of what’s possible when you chase your passion." "My patience—and my wallet—were tested,” Jeremiah joked. “But the results speak for themselves.”
This incredible Nova has earned accolades throughout the 2025 season, including a Builder’s Choice Top Ten award, and now the ultimate honor: Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year.
