ZyClear Clear Gloss Wheel Coating Kit (ADVISED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY)
ZyClear is a spray-on or wipe-on liquid thin-film (only 4-6 microns thick) non-stick coating that protects metal surfaces from brake dust, UV discoloration, corrosion, and oxidation without dulling the original powder coated or polished appearance. Because dirt, chemicals, and brake dust will not stick to a ZyClear treated surface, it makes wheel cleaning and maintenance effortless (just rinse off with clean water).
Our materials engineers subjected polished aluminum wheel components to over 3400 hours of salt spray testing and discovered virtually no damage to the test components that had been treated with ZyClear. And because it is so thin (just 4-6 microns), it will not dull or cloud the shine of polished aluminum (unlike a clear powder coat).
This affordable DIY kit can be applied at home and is expected to last at least two years or more, before requiring reapplication. Each kit is sufficient to treat five entire wheels and includes everything needed for application, including surface cleaner, ZyClear coating, two lint-free towels, and a pair of protective rubber gloves.
