The Forgeline GS1R-6 is designed for professional racing teams competing in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Grand Sport (GS)—combining advanced wheel technology and motorsport design to deliver lightweight performance with exceptional deflection stiffness.
Engineered for top-level endurance racing with a 2100+ lb. street tire load rating, the GS1R-6 has significant material machined from the center for additional weight reduction and improved access to lug nuts. It features I-beamed spokes and a new chamfered outer lip for easier handling.
The GS1R-6 is designed specifically for vehicle applications with 6-lug hubs, including the Dodge Viper.
Compared to our original GA1R street wheel, the GS1R can save an additional pound of mass per wheel depending on the size and offset and enables faster wheel changes.
If you wish to use the optional Open Lug Center Caps, please specify in your order as the GS1R-6 requires special machining to ensure a proper fit.
The GS1R-6 is a one-piece monoblock wheel, precision-machined from a single forging of 6061-T6 aluminum.
