Nick Relampagos's 1970 Camaro on Forgeline GA1R Wheels Selected as Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist

Nick Relampagos's 1970 Chevrolet Camaro on Forgeline GA1R Open Lug wheels was selected as a 2026 Goodguys Griot's Garage Muscle Machine of the Year finalist at the 39th Goodguys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, California. The finalist selection puts Nick's Camaro among an elite group of vehicles competing for one of the most prestigious awards in the custom car industry.
Built at home in his own garage, Nick's Camaro successfully blends modern performance with classic muscle car styling. The car competes in the Optima Batteries Search for the Ultimate Street Car Series and is powered by a 675 rear-wheel horsepower Chevrolet Performance LSA paired with a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. The combination also includes Speedtech Performance suspension, JRi Shocks coilovers, Corvette C6 Z06 brakes, BFGoodrich Rival S tires, and 18x11/18x12 Forgeline one-piece forged monoblock GA1R Open Lug wheels finished in Satin Bronze.
The Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year award recognizes some of the finest high-performance muscle car builds in the country, making finalist status a significant accomplishment. Nick joins a growing list of Forgeline-equipped builders and owners who have earned national recognition through the Goodguys Top 12 awards program.
In fact, three of the first five 2026 Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year finalists ride on Forgeline wheels, further demonstrating the presence of Forgeline-equipped vehicles among the highest levels of custom muscle car competition and craftsmanship.
Congratulations to Nick Relampagos on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for choosing Forgeline!
