The Goodguys Spring Nationals event in Scottsdale, AZ always sets the tone for the year ahead, showcasing some of the highest‑level custom cars in the country. 2026 was no exception, and Forgeline‑equipped builds were once again well represented among the elite, with two standout vehicles named finalists for major national awards.
Earning the coveted Griot's Garage Muscle Machine of the Year finalist spot in Scottsdale was David Levin's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, built by the team at Driven Speed Shop. David's Camaro is powered by a LS7 mated to a 4L75 transmission and rides on a Roadster Shop chassis and 18x9/19x11.5 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock RB1 wheels finished in Satin Black.
After winning Ultimate Best in Show at the 2026 Barrett-Jackson Cup in January, BBT Fabrications continued their winning streak at the Goodguys 16th Spring Nationals in Scottsdale by becoming a 2026 Custom Rod of the Year finalist with Eugene Bothello's 1959 Chevrolet Impala. This incredible build is powered by a 6.2L Chevrolet Performance LT1 mated to a 8L90E transmission and rides on a Roadster Shop Revo chassis, Little Shop MFG disc brakes, and 20x9/21x11 Forgeline custom one-off forged three piece wheels.
Being named a finalist for either of these Goodguys awards is a significant achievement. Having two Forgeline‑equipped vehicles recognized at this level speaks to the builders’ commitment to doing things the right way and to the importance of choosing wheels that are designed and manufactured to match the quality of the entire vehicle.
Congratulations to David, Eugene, and the teams at Driven Speed Shop and BBT Fabrications on their well‑deserved recognition at Goodguys Scottsdale. Thank you for choosing Forgeline to help you raise the bar!
