Submit your rideResurrected from the dead. It's difficult to imagine that Michael Salser's incredible Viper Snakeskin Green 1972 Chevrolet Camaro began as a rusted out mess, because now it is a Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year contender. It's powered by a 600HP 416ci Watson Ruppel Performance LS mated to a Bowler Performance Transmissions-prepped Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and rides on Detroit Speed suspension, Baer brakes, BFGoodrich g-Force Rival S tires, and 18x11/18x12 Forgeline forged three piece GA3C wheels finished with Titanium centers & Polished outers. Show MeThe car that started it all (sort of). It was Dave Schardt's experience racing in the Speedvision Cup and World Challenge series that revealed the need for a new made-in-USA custom forged racing wheel manufacturer and inspired the Schardt family to first start the Forgeline brand, way back in 1994. And the most famous of Dave's racecars from the Speedvision era is this 1997 Hikari Racing Toyota Supra. This car was sold in 2001, but Dave found it for sale in 2016 (still wearing its original 1990s livery!), and he bought it back again, restored it, and still races it in SVRA vintage racing events. In 2024, it won the Race Car class at the Dayton Concours d'Elegance. It's powered by a 650HP turbocharged 2JZ straight-six and rides on Motion Control Suspension double-adjustable shocks, Titan sway bars, Brembo brakes, Pirelli P-Zero racing slicks, and 18x10/18x11.5 Forgeline forged three piece GW3R wheels finished with Satin Black centers & Polished outers.
Show MeThere is no substitute. This 1991 964 Porsche 911 Turbo might be the favorite car within Dave Schardt's fleet of vehicles. Recently, Dave gave it a bit of retro vibe with this brand new set of 18x8.5/18x10.5 Forgeline forged three piece SL3 wheels finished with Matte Silver centers and Polished outers. The SL3 wheel is designed to reflect the style of the old Speedline Porsche Cup wheel, and even features the original "bottom mount" assembly configuration.
Show MeFlat six. There is nothing particularly subtle about the 518HP 184mph 992 Porsche 911 GT3RS, so James Renner leaned into it with these 20x10/21x13 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock VV1R-CL wheels finished in Satin Azure Blue.
Show MeRollin' in my 5.0 with my rag-top down so my hair can blow. John's 2017 Ford Mustang GT convertible is sporting the full suite of RTR body work. It's powered by a 5.0L Coyote equipped with a Stage 2 Harrop TVS 2650 Supercharger with an 85mm pulley, DW 1000cc fuel injectors, and Harrop cold air intake. And it rides on Steeda suspension, 275/35ZR20 & 305/35ZR20 Nitto G2 tires, and 20x10/20x11 Forgeline Flow Formed F01 wheels finished in Liquid Silver.
Show MeLong-term relationship. Patrick Hale bought his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in high school and has owned it for over three decades since. It's powered by a 468ci big block V8 mated to a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission and rides on Detroit Speed front & RideTech rear suspension, SSBC disc brakes, 245/40ZR18 & 335/30ZR18 Continental Tire ExtremeContact SportPlus tires, and 18x8.5/18x12 Forgeline forged three piece FF3C Open Lug wheels finished with Hyper Silver centers & Polished outers.
Show MeShe has a strong personality. Travis Alford's "Christine" 1970 Chevrolet Camaro was built by GAP Industries and debuted at the 2024 Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals, where it earned the Innovation Award presented by Snap-On. It's powered by a 416ci Dedicated Motorsports LS V8 mated to a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission and rides on Detroit Speed suspension, StopTech disc brakes, Diamond Back Classics tires, and 18x10/19x12 Forgeline forged three piece AL307 wheels finished with Pearl Gray centers & Polished outers.
Show MeBad to the bone. Simon Tawil's amazing PPG Azores Green 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle was built by the crew at Detroit Speed and debuted at the 2024 Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals, where it earned the Builder's Choice award from South City Rod and Custom. It's powered by a Holley fuel-injected 555ci big block Chevy V8 mated to a Bowler Performance Transmissions 4L80e transmission and rides on Detroit Speed suspension, Baer brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and 19x10/20x12.5 Forgeline forged three piece AL305 wheels finished with Satin Black centers & Polished outers!
