1996 Dodge Viper

James rescued this 1996 Dodge Viper from years of neglect and rebuilt it into a fully restored, Lightning McQueen–themed tribute inspired by Disney‑Pixar’s Cars. The project blends character, creativity, and craftsmanship, with custom paintwork, details, and fabrication throughout.
To complete the transformation, James partnered with Forgeline to design and build a set of completely custom one‑off three‑piece wheels engineered to mimic the look of Lightning McQueen’s original race wheels. Precision‑machined centers, custom finishes, and motorsport‑grade construction make this tribute as functional as it is fun.
This unique was on display in the Hoosier Tire booth, at the 2025 PRI Show in Indianapolis, where it instantly became a crowd favorite.
A nostalgic, creative, performance‑focused build — and one of the most distinctive custom Vipers ever assembled.
