DAYTON, OHIO. (November 10, 2020) Forgeline was awarded a 2020 SEMA360 New Product Showcase Award their latest flow formed wheel series and design; the F01.
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), each year, selects the industrys leading products from a featured series of new and innovative releases. SEMA awarded Forgeline Motorsports Flow Formed F01 the winner in the Wheel and Related Products category. This is a huge honor for us, said David Schardt, President of Forgeline. We debuted the F01 just months ago. We pushed ourselves to develop beyond Forgelines roots as a forged motorsport wheel manufacturer. Were proud to offer a flow formed street wheel with standards of quality our clients demand of Forgeline.
For over 25 years manufacturing race wheels, Forgeline used their engineering expertise dedicating nearly five years developing an out-of-the-box, high-quality performance street wheel that is both budget and time friendly. Their Flow Formed F01 wheels are appropriately lightweight and have a street tire load rating of 1500 pounds per wheel.
Currently these wheels are tailored to popular, modern sportscar fitments;

We approached this series with the enthusiast driver in mind. The aftermarket is very competitive in this space, so we began with a zero compromise attitude and the same standards of quality which weve built Forgeline.

From their Carbon+Forged series, a highly optimized hypercar wheel blending the best of carbon fiber and forged alloy, to their Drag Racing Series of monoblock beadlock wheels for high-power exotic drag cars, theyve innovated with the most demanding applications in mind. This new series of wheels utilizes advanced flow forming techniques and processes reserved for only the highest quality wheels in this category. Production starts with a tuned Tilted Gravity Cast (TGC) method. A technique which yields an initial casting that is both stronger and lighter than common methods used by many other flow formed manufacturers. The barrel is then formed utilizing the newest Cold Vertical Flow Form Technology. This maintains a steadier spin angle and consistent material temperature to deliver a higher quality result and better overall material structure compared to common hot, horizontal processes. All these aspects of the construction, Forgeline believes, are critical to producing a precision wheel fit for their name.
