Forgeline Carbon Fiber Barrel Wins Best New Product Award at Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals

For the third consecutive year, the Forgeline team was honored to win the Best New Product award in the Tires and Wheels category, at the Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals Presented by PPG, in Columbus, Ohio. The show's 2025 attendees selected our new 18-inch Carbon+Forged Series Carbon Fiber Barrels for this award, which represents yet another testament to the hard work and dedication exhibited every day by the Lacks Forgeline team. Forgeline’s super-lightweight carbon fiber barrels create an attractive and visually distinctive rim that is 40% lighter than an aluminum equivalent, delivering significant weight reduction to the wheel's outer perimeter, where it has the greatest reduction in unwanted inertia and yields real-world improvements to acceleration, braking, cornering traction, ride quality, NVH (noise, vibration, & harshness), driver/passenger comfort, and fuel economy. Forgeline Carbon+Forged carbon fiber barrels are also engineered and tested to deliver industry-leading levels of fatigue strength, impact/damage resistance, and deflection stiffness. Tested by an independent automotive industry laboratory, they have proven to be incredibly strong and robust, exceeding all existing SAE and TUV test specifications.
Beginning in 2025, Forgeline launched a new range of 18-inch sizes of the carbon fiber barrel that are designed specifically to accommodate popular pro-touring and muscle car fitments. And Forgeline's famous 1970 Chevrolet "FN Camaro", equipped with the new 18-inch carbon fiber barrels, has been on display and competing in the autocross, at both the Goodguys Nashville Nationals and the Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals events.
