The 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season roars to life at the legendary Rolex 24 at Daytona, and the Chevrolet Corvette GT3.R program arrives with momentum, experience, and a powerful expanded presence. With five cars representing four elite teams—Pratt Miller Motorsports, 13 Autosport (formerly "AWA Racing"), DragonSpeed, and DXDT Racing—the Corvette GT3.R contingent is poised to make a strong statement in the season opener.

Four Teams, Five Cars, One Goal: Win Daytona

Pratt Miller Motorsports
Cars: #3 & #4, Class: GTD PRO
The architects of the Corvette GT3.R return with a two‑car factory‑supported effort in the GTD PRO class. With continuity in engineering, setup philosophy, and driver lineups, Pratt Miller Motorsports enters 2026 better prepared than ever. After finishing runner‑up in GTD PRO at Daytona in 2025 and winning the 2025 overall season championship, the team is focused on finishing one step higher on the Daytona podium.

13 Autosport
Car: #13, Class: GTD
Last year’s Daytona GTD-class winners return with confidence, experience, and the proven knowledge of exactly what it takes to out‑strategize and out‑last the field. AWA’s 2025 victory was Chevrolet’s 21st Rolex 24 win and the first endurance triumph for the Corvette GT3.R platform. Now operating under the new 13 Autosport identity but with the same core personnel, engineering staff, and operational leadership, this team is eager to chase back‑to‑back wins.

DragonSpeed
Car: #81, Class: GTD
After a strong 2025 GTD Pro season with another vehicle manufacturer, DragonSpeed transitions to the Chevrolet Corvette GT3.R for 2026, and they bring with them extensive global endurance pedigree. The team enters Daytona with fresh equipment and rising confidence after promising early test sessions. Their debut with the Corvette marks one of the most anticipated new partnerships in the GTD field.

DXDT Racing
Car: #36, Class: GTD
A returning Corvette customer team, DXDT Racing continues to build upon a year of experience with the GT3.R that saw success in both the IMSA and GT World Challenge racing series. With an increasingly sharpened driver lineup and improved familiarity with the platform, DXDT expects to be more competitive than ever.

Based upon the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 and sharing the road car’s aluminum chassis, the Corvette GT3.R is powered by a version of the Z06’s 5.5L DOHC LT6 V8 engine mated to a 6-speed sequential transmission. It rides on a motorsports-specific double-wishbone suspension system and a motorsports-specific 6-piston front/4-piston rear AP Racing braking system with unique cooling and quick-change capabilities. Pratt Miller worked with the team at Forgeline Motorsports for several years to develop an application-specific version of Forgeline’s center-locking one piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheel that was engineered to deliver optimized performance metrics (in terms of mass, deflection, strength, and durability) specifically for the new Corvette GT3.R, and every Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 GT3.R competes on 18×12.5/18×13 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheels finished in Gloss Black.

Fans of the Rolex 24 will have multiple ways to watch every moment of this year’s 24‑hour classic, thanks to a comprehensive broadcast plan spanning NBC and Peacock. The entire 24‑hour race will stream flag‑to‑flag on Peacock, making it the primary destination for uninterrupted coverage of the 64th running of the Rolex 24. NBC will also broadcast the start of the race from 1:30–2:30 PM ET on Saturday, January 24 and the finish from 12:00–2:00 PM ET on Sunday, January 25.
