Ryan Mathews won the Grid Life Special Stage Atlanta Track Battle Street MOD class at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, over the May 9-11 weekend, with his Chevrolet C5 Corvette Z06 on Forgeline forged three piece GF3 Open Lug wheels.
Due to inclement weather, the Track Battle competition was limited to Friday morning, which almost certainly left some untapped speed yet to be realized. But after a close battle with fellow Street MOD competitors Jamie Santos and Dewey Dewitt, Ryan came out on top with a fast lap of 1:29.183 which is also a new Street MOD class lap record, for the 2.5 mile Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta circuit.
Ryan’s very-fast C5 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is prepared and tuned by After Dark Speed and equipped with Viking Performance shocks, Essex AP Racing brakes, Yokohama tires, and Forgeline forged three piece GF3 Open Lug wheels finished with Hyper Silver centers and Polished outers.
