RS1 Wins IMSA CTSC at Road Atlanta and Clinches the 2016 ST Class Season Championship on Forgeline GA3R Wheels!It was an exciting finish to the 2016 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge racing season, at Road Atlanta, on September 30! Spencer Pumpelly, Nick Galante, and the RS1 (Rennsport One) racing team came into the season finale at Road Atlanta with an 8 point deficit, in the 2016 ST class season points championship. So they set out to run their best race and hope for some good luck. Fortunately they got both. With 30 minutes remaining, Spencer drove their #17 Porsche Cayman on Forgeline GA3R wheels to the ST class lead. Then just twelve minutes later, the points-leading #25 Freedom Autosport Mazda MX-5 fell off the pace.This allowed the #17 RS1 Cayman to not only win the season finale at Road Atlanta, but also clinch the 2016 ST class season championship!
