Mike Dusold and the Dusold Designs team overcame some initial mechanical challenges to win big, at the July 2024 Gridlife 2024 Summer Apex Festival NOS Energy Drink Track Battle at Road America, where they took first place in the Unlimited class, set a new Gridlife overall track record with a 2:04.583 lap, and reached 200mph on the big straightaway.
Mike's incredible twin-turbocharged 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is a two-time Optima Batteries Ultimate Street Car Invitational champion and repeat Pikes Peak Hill Climb competitor. Mike and the team have been competing successfully at Gridlife Track Battle events throughout the 2024 season. Their Camaro is equipped with significant amounts of downforce-generating aerodynamic enhancements, a custom Dusold-engineered suspension, and a combination of Forgeline one piece forged monoblock CF1 Open Lug front wheels and Forgeline forged three piece GF3 Open Lug rear wheels.
