Ford’s factory-direct Mustang GT4 is built in partnership with Multimatic Motorsports. It’s powered by a Coyote-based V8 engine developed by Ford Performance mated to a paddle-shifted Holinger dog-ring gearbox and rides on an upgraded competition-approved suspension package, Multimatic DSSV dampers, Brembo brakes, Pirelli slicks, and 18×11 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock GS1R wheels.

Forgeline’s GS1R is engineered for the rigors of professional motorsport. CNC-machined from a single forging of 6061-T6 aluminum, the GS1R delivers exceptional stiffness and fatigue strength while minimizing weight, which is critical for the high loads and heat cycles of Daytona’s demanding 4-hour endurance format. It’s no surprise Ford and Multimatic chose the GS1R for every Mustang GT4.

The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race at Daytona will take place on Friday, January 23, with the "Roar Before the 24" giving teams three days of practice opportunity throughout the January 16-18 weekend. Fans can catch live flag-to-flag coverage via Peacock, which offers complete streaming access, including practice, qualifying, and the full race program. Additionally, select highlights and race coverage will air on NBCSN, with NBC picking up the start and finish of the Rolex 24 weekend, making it easy to follow the Mustang GT4 action throughout the weekend from anywhere.
