Hennessey Special Vehicles has released details on their latest hypercar, the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster, an open air version of Hennessey’s mind-boggling Venom F5 Coupe.

It’s powered by an 1817HP twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter “Fury” V8 engine that is mid-mounted in a carbon-fiber monocoque roadster chassis that keeps the entire vehicle’s dry weight to only 3100 pounds.

In addition to its open-top chassis, the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster is further distinguished from its coupe sibling by a unique wheel set that is manufactured exclusively for Hennessey Special Vehicles by Forgeline.

Designed through a collaborative effort between Forgeline and Hennessey Special Vehicles, the Venom F5 Roadster’s lightweight wheels feature seven pairs of spokes, each resembling an elongated Hennessey “H”. Milled into the outer face of each wheel is the “Hennessey” script which is mirrored by the “Roadster” script on the opposite side. Each wheel is precision-machined from a proprietary one piece monoblock 6061-T6 aluminum forging, ensuring that each wheel is not only lightweight but also exceptionally strong.

Owners may further opt to upgrade the standard Hyper Silver powder coat finish to a Fully-Polished option, an exclusive finish achieved through a painstaking process of hand polishing that requires several additional weeks to complete.

Hennessey Special Vehicles will make only 30 examples of the Venom F5 Roadster, each individually commissioned and personalized for its owner. They will be priced at $3 million each.
