Always a favorite destination at the annual Performance Racing Industry trade show, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Forgeline booth is going to be hotter than ever for 2024, when Forgeline and Chevrolet team up to the bring the Corvette Z06 GT3.R to the Indianapolis Convention Center, throughout the December 12-14 event.
Based on the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 and sharing the road car’s aluminum chassis, the Corvette GT3.R is Chevrolet's latest GT3-spec racing platform. It competes globally on 18×12.5/18×13 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheels finished in Gloss Black. Pratt Miller Engineering worked with the team at Forgeline Motorsports for years to develop an application-specific version of Forgeline’s center-locking SS1R-GT wheel that was engineered to deliver optimized performance metrics (in terms of mass, deflection, strength, durability, and aerodynamics) specifically for the new Corvette GT3.R.
The 2025 racing season will see the largest entry list to date of teams who will be campaigning the new Corvette GT3.R. So far, the list of confirmed entrants worldwide includes the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship Series, the SRO GT World Challenge America Series, SRO British GT Championship Series, the FIA WEC Series, the European Le Mans Series, and the Michelin Le Mans Cup Series.
Forgeline will display the Corvette GT3.R "Chassis 001" at the 2024 PRI Show, along with nine brand new forged wheel models that will be seen publicly for the very first time. Forgeline will also display our growing collection of top-end motorsport wheels, including the forged monoblock SS1R-GT found on the Corvette GT3.R, the legendary GS1R, and other top performers from Forgeline's 30-year manufacturing history.
Attendees of the 2024 PRI Show can find the Forgeline exhibit at booth #545 located against the south wall of the Green Hall, and they can meet the Forgeline team (Dave, Steve, Mark, Sherri, Kenny, and John) who have dedicated their careers to serving the performance and racing industry.
