The unique serial number assigned to each Forgeline forged wheel allows us to reference all of the original specifications of that wheel, including fitment and finish. But locating those serial numbers can sometimes be tricky. So in this video, Forgeline president Dave Schardt explains where to locate the serial number on Forgeline monoblock and modular forged wheels.
One Piece Forged Monoblock Wheels
The serial number on a Forgeline one piece forged monoblock wheel will be a 10-digit number located along the outside circumference of the back side of the wheel.
Forged Modular Wheel (Three-Piece and Two-Piece Carbon+Forged) 2010+
The serial number on a Forgeline forged modular wheel (three-piece or two-piece Carbon+Forged) built in 2010 or later will be a 10-digit number located along the back side of the mounting pad, usually along the outer edge of the mounting pad.
Forged Modular Three-Piece Wheel Pre-2010
The serial number on a Forgeline forged three-piece wheel built prior to 2010 will be a 10-digit number located along the top edge of the rim register, usually behind the spokes.
