Show MeRandy Johnson's "DZ06" Corvette is a real supercar built on a C5 Z06 chassis by D&Z Customs, in Wisconsin. It's powered by a 630HP Lingenfelter LS7 mated to a Bowler-prepped TR6060 transmission through a Centerforce twin disc DYAD clutch. The body features carbon fiber hood, rockers, & rear diffuser by Carbon Creations, nose & tail from Extreme Dimensions, and wider front fenders (3/4 inch) & wider rear quarters (1.25 inch) from Lewis 5 Motorsports. It rides on the complete RideTech suspension upgrade, including RideTech triple adjustable coilovers, RideTech delrin bushings, and RideTech splined sway bars. His Wilwood disc brakes include the Wilwood Aero 6 calipers and Spec 37 floating 14-inch rotors, in the front, and Wilwood 4-piston Superlite calipers with Spec 37 floating 13-inch rotors, in the rear. His Nitto NT05 tires are 295/35ZR18 (front) and 335/30ZR19 (rear) wrapped around 18x11/19x12 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock AR1 wheels finished in Transparent Copper. Show MeTravis enjoys his 2014 Mustang Shelby GT500 at frequent track events, so he tackled his list of modifications with careful consideration for how they affect lap times. His GT500 already makes plenty of power, so aside from a K&N air cleaner and intake resonator delete, it runs a stock engine and tune. But the chassis has received a lot of attention, including H&R lowering springs (with the factory electronic Bilstein dampers), Kenny Brown front lower control arms & bumpsteer kit, Kenny Brown matrix brace and jacking rails, Kenny Brown three-link rear suspension upgrade (fully Heim jointed), Kenny Brown rear adjustable panhard bar kit with rear sway bar delete, and camber & caster kit. Brake upgrades include Hawk DTC60 pads, stainless steel flex hoses, Motul Racing fluid, and Full Tilt Boogie Racing front brake cooling ducts (with forced air induction). He has also added a rear differential catch can and Barton Industries short throw shifter. His wheel corners are a square setup consisting of 285/35R19 Pirelli Trofeo R tires and 19x10.0 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock GA1R Open Lug Cap Edition wheels finished in Satin Gunmetal. Travis tell us, "Versus the stock SVT wheels that came with the car, these wheels are incredibly light...The car is noticeably more responsive to all three phases: acceleration, turning, and braking. This change might be worth as much as 2 seconds off my lap times at Blackhawk Farms in South Beloit, IL and Autobahn CC in Joliet, IL. I considered buying the new carbon fiber wheels, from Ford, for the new GT350R, but the Forgelines were 40% of the cost. And the carbon wheels offered less than 10% weight savings differential, so the Forgelines are a cost effective no-brainer! These wheels are beautiful and functional; what more could you ask for?"

Show MeWhen Bernhard first started taking his Mercedes C63 AMG 507 Edition to the track, it was equipped with another set of custom made-to-order forged wheels from a different high-end brand (NOT Forgeline). But unfortunately, on his very first day at the track, that other set of wheels couldn't handle the loads that were encountered, during a day of sustained high speed cornering, so they cracked and self-destructed. So with the help of Cincinnati, Ohio's Turn in Concepts, he switched gears and invested in a set of wheels that was truly designed for motorsport applications, these Forgeline GA1R Open Lug Cap Edition wheels finished in Satin Black. Now he can attack the track with confidence!
