There is a long tradition of Forgeline customers winning the Grand Champion title, at Holley LS Fest, and that tradition continued at the 2024 Holley LS Fest East in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where Nathan Johnson won the Vintage Class with his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro and Stephen Dorrick won the Truck Class with 2005 Nissan Frontier.
In the Vintage Class, Nathan Johnson won the drag racing portion of the event, placed fourth in the autocross, and landed in fifth place in the Speed/Stop 3S Challenge. His resulting 293 point total gave him a 5 point lead over the second place 1970 Camaro of Cody Pucket, and earned Nathan his first LS Fest Grand Champion title. Nathan's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 422ci CMP Engines LS3 mated to a Bowler Performance Transmissions-prepped Tremec Transmissions T56 Carbon Edition 6-speed manual transmission and rides on a Speedtech Performance Extreme chassis with independent rear suspension, Motion Control Suspension coilovers, C6 Corvette Z06 brakes, 315/30R18 Yokohama Advan A052 tires, and 18x12 Forgeline forged three piece GA3R Open Lug wheels finished with Satin Gunmetal centers & Polished outers.
In the Truck Class, Stephen Dorrick won both the Speed/Stop 3S Challenge and the Drag Race, and he finished eighth in the Autocross. His 295 point total was just enough to win his class with a single point margin over second place David Carroll and his 1970 Chevrolet Blazer. Stephen's 2005 Nissan Frontier is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.2L forged LS mated to a Tick Performance sequential gearbox and an AWD Chevy Trailblazer SS driveline. It rides on Nissan Armada suspension, Viking Suspension coilovers, Wilwood disc brakes, 345/30ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and 20x12 Forgeline forged three piece FF3-Truck wheels finished with Pearl Gray centers and Elite Red outers.
With their 2024 title-winning performances, Nathan and Stephen have joined a long list of previous Grand Champion winners on Forgeline wheels, including Danny Popp (2013 & 2017), Mike Dusold (2019 & 2021), Josh Leisinger (2020 & 2023), Jason Brady (2020), Jack Stanford (2021), Brian Finch (2022), Joe Gregory (2023), and Duke Langley (2024 West).
Congrats to Nathan and Stephen, and thank you for the trust that you've placed in Forgeline!
