After over 20 years of involvement with teams of virtually every sports car racing organization in the world, we have learned what it takes to produce a racing wheel that can withstand the fierce conditions of the sport. This knowledge has been applied to our latest competition wheel - the GZ3R.
An updated version of the incredibly popular ZX3R, the Forgeline GZ3R is an attractive contemporary premium 3-piece performance racing wheel featuring our "I-beamed" spoke technology to reduce weight while adding strength and rigidity. It uses hidden ARP stainless steel assembly hardware for a smooth clean appearance and faster/easier wheel cleaning. Plus the design of the center allows plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitment. Visible through-bolts are an option on this wheel, for those who prefer the look of the assembly hardware.
The GZ3R is designed for racing. It is engineered with a 1900 lb. street-tire load rating to ensure strength and integrity, even when subjected to the massive loads encountered when used with the stickiest race tires.
The GZ3R is produced using our traditional forging method utilizing 6061-T6 aluminum with heat-treated rim shells. And just like any Forgeline wheel, the GZ3R offers fully-customizable fitment and finish, including center-lock applications.
