Turner Dominates - Again

Dayton OH, May 27, 2009 – The No.97 Turner Motorsport E46 M3 started by Chris Gleason and finished by Joey Hand brought home 1st place and continued bragging rights for FORGELINE! Dog fighting Andy Lally in the No.41 TRG/Magnus Racing Porsche 997 GT3; at the end of the 1.53 mile course at Lime Rock Park, Gleason and Hand had covered 135 laps with an average speed of 82.464 and a best lap time at 56.990. Trailing behind Lally was Turner Motorsport’s No.96 E46 M3 piloted by Bill Auberlen and started by Matt Bell. Bell’s spin and collision was only a minor setback as he caught up on his lost positions and
Auberlen finished the race with 3rd place. The final 22-minutes were a nail biter as Hand and Lally we’re putting on a show for the crowd. These 2 drivers put on an epic showdown for everyone to remember and will be the conversation piece for many fans and enthusiasts.

This makes it the 14th KONI challenge victory for Tuner Motorsport and Gleason, at the age of 65, his 6th victory in the series.
